Riverside Police ask public for help identifying hit-and-run victim

Tatoo on the right hand of a male who was the victim of a hit-and-run.

RIVERSIDE – Riverside police today asked the public for help identifying a man who was seriously injured by a hit-and-run motorist while riding his bicycle.
The crash occurred about 12:40 p.m. Thursday on Market Street near the 60 Freeway, according to police. The driver fled the scene in the vehicle.
The victim did not have any identification and police have exhausted all options to discover his identity, they said.
He was described as Hispanic, 30 to 40 years old, average build, with black hair.
A picture of his face could not be posted due to his significant injuries, police said. He has a tattoo on his right hand that appears to read “Irene,” with the date 6-1-20 above the name.
