RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The number of people hospitalized with coronavirus in Riverside County fell again, but an additional 14 virus-related deaths were reported, according to the latest data. Numbers released Tuesday by the Riverside University Health System showed COVID hospitalizations countywide were at 538, down three from Monday. The number includes 146 intensive care unit patients, seven more than a day earlier. Another 1,225 COVID infections were confirmed, lifting the county's overall number since the pandemic began to 346,493. A total 4,851 deaths from virus-related complications have been recorded in the last 18 months.
