Drive-in movie experience comes to Ramona Elementary families

HEMET – Remember the good old days, when you would go to the drive-in with your friends or family to watch the newest movie release? Depending on your age, maybe you never experienced a drive-in movie, but some of our youngest students in the valley can check this off their bucket list. Thanks to Ramona Elementary School’s staff and PTA, nearly 200 people attended a makeshift drive-in movie experience, complete with vintage cars, family fun and fresh air. Ramona started their school year off with a bang Tuesday, Sept. 14, by holding its first family event of the new school year. Families gathered on the school’s blacktop to watch a movie hosted by Ramona’s PTA. The week before, staff handed out large boxes for each student at dismissal.
