Fire Damages Residence in San Jacinto; Firefighter Injured

SAN JACINTO (CNS) - A fire damaged a house in San Jacinto today and left a firefighter injured, authorities said. Firefighters sent to the 2000 block of Tennyson Street shortly before 2 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story residence in about two hours, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The injured firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment of a "minor burn injury,'' the fire department reported. The American Red Cross was requested to assist three adults and three minors displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire was under investigation. Copyright 2021, City News Service, Inc.
