  UPDATE: Wednesday, Nov. 24, 8:47 a.m.The man who perished in a Temecula plane crash has been identified as a Murrieta resident.The crash, which was first reported at 10:36 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, occurred in a field in the 32100 block of Everview Terrace.Marshal Whatley, 48, of Murrieta was killed when the single-engine Zodiac 601XL he was piloting crashed in heavy brush near the under construction Sommers Bend housing development, just a few miles southeast of the French Valley Airport.UPDATE: Tuesday, Nov. 23, 12:37 p.m.One person has died in a Temecula plane crash Valley News has learned.The crash, which was first reported at 10:36 a.m., occurred in a field in the 32100 block
