Riverside County reports 38 new COVID-related deaths, most since March
Riverside County reported 394 new cases of COVID-19 and 38 additional deaths Friday, Nov. 19, the most reported for a single day in the county since March.The number of coronavirus patients hospitalized in the county increased to 257, up from 246 on Wednesday, Nov. 17, according to the Riverside University Health System. The number of those patients in intensive care was 69, up from 67 one day before.The cumulative number of COVID cases recorded since the pandemic began in March 2020 stood at 371,878, up from 371,484 Wednesday.A total of 5,353 deaths from virus-related complications have been recorded in the county in roughly the past 20 months.
