New man to assume command at CHP’s Riverside station

RIVERSIDE - The New Year will begin with a new man taking the helm at the California Highway Patrol's Riverside station, it was announced today. Capt. Levi Miller will officially assume his new duties on Jan. 1, taking the place of former station commander Capt. Tai Vong, who has already started working in the agency's training division in Sacramento, according to the CHP. "Riverside holds a special place in my family history,'' Miller said. "My great grandparents moved to Riverside from the Midwest in the 1920s, and they raised their family here. I am grateful and humbled to be back in this community and to serve alongside the women and men who are dedicated each day to providing the highest level of `Safety, Service and Security' to the people of California.''
