Trinity Construction given EVMWD contract for new Palomar Well

The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District board awarded Trinity Construction the contract for the Palomar Well replacement.A 5-0 vote Thursday, Dec. 16, approved a contract with Trinity Construction, which is headquartered in the Lake Arrowhead suburb of Cedar Glen, for $3,305,286.80 and appropriated $3,402,817.80 which also includes $81,005 for staff time and $16,526 for overhead. The new well will be within the Wildomar city limits on Timothy Road approximately 175 feet northeast of Palomar Street.The original Palomar Well was constructed in 1967 for a private owner. The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District acquired the well in 1983 and used it for potable water production.
