Joe Mouawad, general manager of Eastern Municipal Water District, was selected for the national board of the WateReuse Association.The WateReuse Association is a trade organization of water utilities and businesses involved in water recycling operations. Mouawad replaced Paul Jones as general manager of EMWD after Jones retired April 30, 2021. Jones was also involved in the WateReuse Association, including as the national president in 2019 and as the state president. Jones’ term on the WateReuse national board did not expire until the end of 2021, so Jones remained on that board after retiring as the EMWD general manager until leaving the board at the end of his term.“It’s quite an honor to be selected to serve on the board, and I’m looking forward to contributing,” Mouaw
