San Jacinto City Council approves tax levies and makes 2022 agency appointments
The San Jacinto City Council made two annexations authorizing the levy of special taxes of a new retail center and a medical marijuana dispensary in the city before its new mayor for 2022 made several commission and committee changes for council members at its Jan. 4 council meeting.A public hearing was held to discuss the annexation of Cottonwood Commons, a proposed shopping center located northwest of the intersection of Cottonwood and Sanderson avenues into two community facilities districts. Cottonwood Commons will include a drive-in restaurant and a fast food drive-thru.
