A pedestrian was struck by a big rig and killed Saturday, Jan. 22, in a Murrieta intersection.The crash occurred at 3:53 p.m. at Winchester and Murrieta Hot Springs roads, according to the California Highway Patrol incident log.Robin Kropp, 54, of Murrieta, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Riverside County Coroner's report.Investigators said the driver of the big rig began making a right turn from westbound Murrieta Hot Springs Road to northbound Winchester Road on a green light when the victim stepped into the marked crosswalk on Winchester Road and was struck.Kropp was knocked down by the right front end of the truck and run over by the right rear wheels, causing fatal injuries, according to the CHP.According to the incident log, the driver of the big
