A continuing Eastern Municipal Water District report brought a concern from the Menifee City Council Wednesday, Jan. 19, that a planned Murrieta Road Transmission Pipeline Project will fully close Murrieta Road, detouring traffic to Evans and Murphy Ranch roads by some schools in March or April.The actual Murrieta Road closure would be from Puerto Vallarta Way to La Piedra Road.“That is going to be an utter nightmare,” during school hours, council member Bob Karwin said, during the presentation.He suggested that EMWD coordinate with the Menifee Union School District to be sure the expected closures and detours, or at least part of it, be made during the upcoming school break, April 11-18.Jeff Armstrong from EMWD, who was presenting, assured Karwin that the water distric
