Riverside County approved a memorandum of understanding with Menifee for the county to provide Department of Environmental Health services to the city.A 5-0 county Board of Supervisors vote Tuesday, Jan. 25, approved the memorandum of understanding which provides vector control, Local Agency Management Plan services for on-site wastewater treatment systems and services related to sewage, trash and garbage complaints. The Environmental Health director was also given the authority to enter into and implement similar memorandum of understandings with other local jurisdictions subject to approval of the wording by county counsel.
