It might seem a bit odd that there is still talk of high school football, especially when winter sports are heading into their final weeks of the regular season, but with all-star games being played and accolades still being handed out, there is no better time to announce the 2021 All-Inland area high school football selections.

Murrieta Valley, who won the Southwestern League outright, and Temecula Valley, who made it all the way to the Division 7 CIF Southern Section finals, both had three selections make their way on to the First and Second teams while a large number of local talented players all received honorable mentions.

Players were placed onto the first-team, second-team or were given honorable mention based upon the number of votes they received. As selected by Inland Fieldhouse, the following players from the 2021-22 high school football season were selected from the southwest Riverside County area.

Murrieta Valley’s Tiger Bachemeier picked up a First Team All-Inland area selection as a wide receiver for the 2021 season. Valley News/Action Captures Media Group
