Local Lake Riverside Estates horsewomen Sabrina Drake and Jackie Burch went on a ride in a winter wonderland Wednesday, Feb. 23.The rural community received several inches of snow from a fleeting winter storm. It was still coming down when the equestrians decided to saddle up for a wintry adventure.“I was on Disa and Jackie was riding Assa,” Drake said. “Elska was in the pasture.”Known in the local equestrian community for their videos on social media and a welcoming demeanor on the trail, Drake and her husband Douglas own several Icelandic horses.
