TEMECULA – The Temecula Valley Elks Lodge 2801 Veterans Committee purchased items for Welcome Home Kits for veterans. After dinner on a Lodge Family Night, the Veterans Committee, as well as many Lodge members helped fill the backpacks with personal items. When the backpacks and boxes of items for their new homes were filled, the Veterans Committee delivered the Welcome Home Kits to the U.S. VETS facility at March Air Reserve Base. The kits will be used to help homeless veterans transition into the community by providing clothing, toiletries, bedding and kitchen items for their new apartments.Submitted by Temecula Valley Elks Lodge 2801.
