MENIFEE (CNS) - More than three dozen probationers and parolees were arrested during a sweep in Menifee and neighboring communities to check whether the convicted felons were complying with the terms of their supervised release, authorities said today. "Operation Four Leaf Clover'' was a multi-agency effort led by the Menifee Police Department to contact probationers and parolees in 157 locations, according to Menifee police Capt. Dave Gutierrez. "It was a very successful operation,'' Gutierrez said. The operation was conducted Wednesday in partnership with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the Department of Probation, Murrieta Police Department, the county Gang Impact Team and California State Parole.
