Magnitude 3.3 earthquake strikes near Anza
ANZA (CNS) - A magnitude-3.3 earthquake struck in the Anza area today, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The earthquake was reported at 4:59 a.m. and was centered 9.9 miles south-southwest of Alpine Village, according to the USGS. It was 7.4 miles deep.
The earthquake was 18.4 miles southwest of La Quinta, 19.4 miles south southwest of Palm Desert and 19.7 miles south southwest of Rancho Mirage.
