Temecula to celebrate Arbor Day with tree planting ceremony

TEMECULA – Temecula invites residents to celebrate Arbor Day Saturday, April 23, at 9 a.m. at Vail Ranch Park, 32965 Harmony Lane, in Temecula. Arbor Day is an annual day of observance that Temecula recognizes to promote the importance of trees in people’s lives and encourages tree planting and care.This year marks the 150th anniversary of the tree planter’s holiday, and the city is excited to contribute to the Temecula’s urban forest by planting more trees in honor of this special day.
