BEAUMONT (CNS) - Two 18-year-old felons remained jailed today, accused
of possessing semi-automatic handguns and illegal narcotics in Beaumont.Marco Valenzuela and Alexander Ramirez, both Beaumont residents and
documented gang members, were taken into custody after deputies conducted a
probation compliance check at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the
700 block of Michigan Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's
Department.Deputies found two loaded semi-automatic handguns, an illegal
switchblade and illegal narcotics in the home, sheriff's official said.The suspects were booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility on
suspicion of various weapon and drug crimes. They each remained behind bars
