Wildomar City Council strengthens Code Enforcement actions

Wildomar City Council, with new appointed council member Ashlee DePhillippo, taking the District 5 seat, strengthened the city’s code enforcement policy and approved an upgrade to the city’s camera surveillance systems at its Wednesday, April 13, meeting.The council also extended the extension of the temporary use permits, afforded to some local restaurants with outside table service areas during the COVID pandemic, until Sept. 30.The council was quick to approve a resolution amending the city’s municipal code to allow code enforcement officials more latitude in ordering dangerous collapsing buildings to be repaired or torn down.
