HEMET (CNS) - Hemet police today asked for the public's help tracking down the vehicle that was likely involved in a deadly hit-and-run, while the man believed to be at the wheel of the car remains under investigation."We have a cooperative suspect who is out of custody at this time,'' Hemet police Cpl. Tim McGinnis told City News Service. "Charges have not been filed yet due to the investigation being so fresh and not having all of the evidence on hand.''McGinnis declined to identify the motorist.The hit-and-run occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Florida Avenue, just east of San Jacinto Street, according to police.
