The County of Riverside awarded ATP General Engineering Contractors the contract to resurface Rainbow Canyon Road.The work will resurface approximately 1 mile of the Rainbow Canyon Road between Frontage Road and the Temecula city limits. A 5-0 Riverside County Board of Supervisors vote June 28 accepted the bid of ATP General Engineering Contractors, which is based in San Diego and under the Hanson Aggregates Pacific Southwest corporate entity. The contract will be for $987,988. The supervisors also approved a proposed budget for the project which includes expenses for services and a contingency amount.The county’s general plan classifies Rainbow Canyon Road as a Secondary Highway.
