MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - A man was shot to death today by a Riverside
County Sheriff's Department deputy in Moreno Valley.The sheriff's department announced the killing on Perris Boulevard and
John F. Kennedy Drive around 12:30 p.m. Friday.The shooting occurred as sheriff's deputies were responding to a call
for assistance around 11 a.m. Friday.California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced today that he will
investigate and independently review the fatal shooting, which occurred around
11 a.m. Friday.There was no immediate word on what prompted the deputy to fire his
gun and names of the people involved were not released.The investigation will be turned over to the Special Prosecutions
