Flood Control District grants Lake Elsinore Outlet channel to SCE

The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District conveyed an easement along the Lake Elsinore Outlet Channel to Southern California Edison.The county Board of Supervisors members are also the board members of the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, and the county supervisors voted 4-0 Tuesday, July 12, with Manuel Perez absent, to authorize the purchase and sale agreement and the execution of the easement deed. The easement involves eight legal parcels and totals 45,237 square feet.SCE plans to construct a 27-mile electric 115,000-volt subtransmission line from the Valley substation in Menifee to the Ivyglen substation in unincorporated Temescal Valley.
