County extends fire protection and EMS agreement with Temecula
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors extended the Riverside County Fire Department contracts to provide fire protection and emergency medical service to the city of Temecula.The supervisors’ 5-0 vote Tuesday, July 26, approves a three-year cooperative agreement covering fiscal years 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. The county fire department will provide 15 staff members, which is the same level of service as the previous contract. The expected city of Temecula reimbursement over the three-year period is $59,125,151.The city of Temecula has contracted with the Riverside County Fire Department since 1990.
