AGUANGA - A motorcyclist was critically injured today in a head-on collision with a sedan in Aguanga. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 371 and 79, according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency said the motorcyclist, whose identity was not released, might have plowed through a stop sign, hitting the front end of the car. Riverside County Fire Department paramedics reached the location a short time later and found the victim with major injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt. An airlift was arranged, and the motorcyclist was retrieved close to an hour later and flown to Temecula Valley Hospital in critical condition, according to the CHP.
