The Regional Water Quality Control Board rescinded the RWQCB waste discharge order for the Ortega Oaks Recreational Vehicle Park and Campground in Lake Elsinore.The four RWQCB board members who were at the Wednesday, Aug. 10, board meeting all supported the rescission of the waste discharge order. The ownership is still subject to waste discharge restrictions, but the facility is now part of Riverside County’s Local Agency Management Plan for on-site wastewater treatment systems and the discharge requirements will be regulated by the county’s Department of Environmental Health.Ortega Oaks is in the 34000 block of Ortega Highway.
