WASHINGTON – Earlier this year, members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus met with President Joe Biden and senior White House officials to discuss topics of critical importance to the Hispanic community. At the meeting, members advocated for strengthening and expanding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.The Biden administration has finalized a rule that will turn DACA into a federal regulation, shielding it from legal challenges.It’s a first step in the CHC’s tooth and nail fight for a legislative solution that will provide a pathway to citizenship for undocumented individuals and families including Dreamers, farm workers and Temporary Protected Status holders, among others, who have been on the front lines of the pandemic as essential workers. More than
