Local bargain hunters were not disappointed at the huge quantity of various items offered at the Anza Valley Christian Fellowship tent sale Thursday, Sept. 1 through Saturday, Sept. 3 at the church grounds off Bautista Road in Anza.An estimated 300 people came to shop, browse and socialize during the much-anticipated event. Volunteers and church members were on hand to assist guests with finding their items or carrying loads of purchased items to their cars. A mannequin was dressed and undressed several times as the clothing combinations and accessories were sold off it. Clothes, books and kitchen items disappeared at a rapid rate.Kitchenware, collectibles, shoes, purses, linens, books, toys, clothes, jewelry and more were scooped up by eager shoppers throughout the three-day event
