RCWD approves funding and contracts for Temecula Valley Basin Salt and Nutrient Management Plan revision

The Rancho California Water District approved funding and professional services agreements for revisions to the Temecula Valley Basin Salt and Nutrient Management Plan.A 7-0 RCWD board vote Sept. 8 approved $120,000 of additional funding for the project, increasing the total budgeted amount from $300,000 to $420,000. The board also approved a $34,125 contract with Michael Welch for as-needed services to support the development of the plan revision, an $89,866 contract with Geoscience Support Services Inc., for professional geohydrologic services, and a $289,425 contract with Woodard & Curran to develop the plan.The State Water Resources Control Board has a Policy for Water Quality Control for Recycled Water.
