While most California Department of Transportation and other highway projects in the Valley News circulation area continue their work, much of it will not be taking place on Thanksgiving weekend from Nov. 24 through Nov. 27.Continuing the Caltrans work from Nov. 28 will be rebar forming, pouring and excavation and barrier work on State Route 74 (Ortega Highway) from the Riverside and Orange County border to Monte Vista Street just west of Lake Elsinore. There will be one-way lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. These closures will run approx. from The Candy Store to the Orange County line.
