SAN JACINTO (CNS) - Four people were arrested during a DUI checkpoint, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced today. The checkpoint was conducted on from 7:30 p.m.  on Saturday until 12:30 a.m. today at State Street and Sagecrest Drive.A total of 963 drivers were contacted, 33 of whom were cited for driving without a valid driver's license. Five were cited for driving with a suspended driver's license. During the checkpoint deputies arrested one person for allegedly driving under the influence. Two other people were arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance. One person was arrested for vehicle theft, and the vehicle was recovered.
