The Canyon Springs Cougars (Moreno Valley) mauled host Heritage 71-28 in a Sunbelt League bout last week. With the victory, Canyon Springs upgraded its record to 11-7 overall on the season.

The Cougars were led by senior Emmanuel Koahou, with 16 points and sophomore JaVonte Zuniga, who had 15. With the loss, Heritage fell to 3-12 on the season as junior Aiden De Leon did his best to keep the Patriots competitive with his 13 points.
