Lake Elsinore City Council shares public service information

Mayor Natasha Johnson presided over the first Lake Elsinore City Council meeting of 2023 on Jan. 10. Utility company representatives took advantage of the one-minute public comment forum to share updates with the community as well as city officials.Adam Eventov, Public Affairs Manager for SoCal Gas Co., said that residents can expect to see significant increases in their natural gas bills due to record-setting demands and other factors. He recommended visiting the company’s website at to learn about assistance programs available to eligible customers as well as energy-saving tips that can help keep costs down.Jeremy Goldman from SoCal Edison shared that the wildfire mitigation projects his company is performing will require planned power outages during installation.
