Volunteer ambassadors for the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation met for their first 2023 training session Saturday, Jan. 14 to learn about the nonprofit’s mission and goals for the new year.The ambassadors and SRPNEF Board of Directors heard from Jane Block, the founder of Rivers and Land Conservancy. The group spurred the initial purchase of land on the Santa Rosa Plateau in the hills above Murrieta in the 1980s that has now become an almost 10,000-acre nature reserve.
