First 5 Riverside County accepting nominations for 2023 Champion For Children Award

RIVERSIDE COUNTY – Nominations have opened for First 5 Riverside County’s annual Champion for Children Award. Each year the award recognizes people and organizations whose leadership and advocacy embody the vision of F5RC: to ensure all children prenatal through age five have the best start in life. Nominations are due by Wednesday, Feb. 22.The Champion for Children Award comes with $1,000 to support a community event of the recipient’s choice. The Champion is also recognized by the F5RC Commission as well as in a news release and on F5RC social media channels.The 2022 Champion for Children was the youngest in the award’s history: 17 year-old Solange Signoret whose anti-bullying advocacy extends not only throughout Riverside County but has included national speaking engagem
