TEMECULA – Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, in partnership with the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, offers the Patricia Deroeux Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to two individuals within the city of Temecula who are full-time students and in need of financial assistance due to the death of a parent because of cancer.The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce remembered “the impactful presence and generous spirit of Patricia “Pattie” Deroeux, who served as a beloved staff member” for many years. Pattie was diagnosed with cancer in December 2002 and died in May 2003.
