Many user fees raised after 5 years by Murrieta City Council with little objection

The Murrieta City Council approved a new set of city user fees at the regular March 21 meeting, raising many of those from five years ago when the city had less population.User fees are charged to businesses, developers and residents for Building Permits, Planning and Development applications, Recreation Facilities and Business Licenses to pay for the city services rendered by the staff.In Murrieta, the user fees had not been raised by any extent in the past five years, even with higher inflation, staffing additions and increased state and federal mandated regulations.
