The City of Murrieta is proud to be the recipient of three distinguished awards that highlight the priority Murrieta City Council and staff place on transparent and accurate financial reporting. The Government Finance Officer Association awarded both the Distinguished Budget Award for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 and FY 2022-2023, Biennial Operating Budget and Excellence in Financial Reporting for the FY 2021-2022 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
