The Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the use of Community Improvement Designation funding for the city of Menifee, JDS Creative Academy, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, and California Family Life Center.The supervisors voted 4-0 March 14, with Manuel Perez absent, to allocate $5,000 to the city of Menifee, $2,500 to JDS Creative Academy, $1,000 to the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce and $1,000 to California Family Life Center. Community Improvement Designation grants can be allocated to nonprofit organizations, public agencies, county departments or other organizations with programs which serve the social needs of the county’s population.
