MENIFEE (CNS) – A 62-year-old woman was killed when her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 215 in Menifee, authorities said today. Lim Paz of Menifee was fatally injured shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday on northbound I-215 at Scott Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said that Paz’s vehicle crashed into the rear of the big rig, but no other details were immediately available. Riverside County Fire Department crews reached the location within a few minutes and extricated the victim from the wreckage, at which point she was pronounced dead at the scene. The trucker was not hurt.
