LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) – An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in Lake Elsinore, authorities announced today.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Thursday burglary around 10:30 p.m. at a home located in the 31000 block of Cedarhill Lane.
The residents were sleeping and then woken up by the suspect exiting their master bedroom. When deputies arrived, they entered the home after the victims had safely exited. The suspect was not located inside, but deputies found the home ransacked.
Investigations revealed that a back sliding glass door was left unlocked, which is how the suspect appeared to have made entry into the home.
The suspect was later identified as 18-year-old Logan Davis, a transient living in Lake Elsinore.
The stolen property was located and recovered by deputies, and Davis was arrested and booked in the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of burglary.
Anyone with additional information regarding this burglary was encouraged to call Deputy Maragno at 951-245-3300.
