FRENCH VALLEY (CNS) – A Cessna aircraft (550 Business Jet) making an emergency landing in French Valley this morning ignited an approximately one-acre vegetation
fire that was contained by firefighters, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 4:16 a.m., occurring in the area of Auld and
Briggs roads, the Riverside County Fire Department reported. The aircraft,
fully engulfed in flames, landed in a field. While there are still conflicting reports coming in from local news agencies, KTLA-5 stated that there were six occupants in the aircraft at the time of the crash, all whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
