Riverside County Sheriff's Sergeant Jeremy Parsons and CSO Jeff Funkhouser were warmly welcomed to the Anza Valley Community Library’s Summer Reading Program activities Saturday, July 8. The well-loved community law enforcement officers read to children, listened to the kids read their favorite books and gave tours of the Ford Explorer Police Interceptor they drove to the event.“The day brought two very special visitors to the Anza Valley Community Library,” said librarian Kay Mackay. “The sheriffs stopped by to spend time with the children participating in the Summer Reading Program.
