Game notes:
Chaparral defeated the visiting Apple Valley Sundevils by the score of 28-24, by using big plays late in the 4th quarter to come from behind to get the victory. Jayce Venable scored twice including a 55-yard touchdown that would prove to be the game winner for the Pumas. It took a while but QB Dash Beierly got the Pumas offense clicking in the second half. – David Canales, VN Photog
