TEMECULA -During the weekly Friday flag ceremony at Crowne Hill Elementary School (CHES), students came together in a new way, as the Temecula Valley Unified School District cut the ribbon on a new inclusive playground.
Through grant funding from the United States Department of Education Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund, the district budgeted approximately $200,000 and made improvements to all three playgrounds at CHES.
“This district is committed to the health and well being of each and every student in each and every way possible,” said Dr. Joseph Komrosky, TVUSD school board president. “I applaud the district staff who pursued this grant funding and this school for opening the hearts and minds to all students.”
