Two Homes Evacuated After Propane Tank Fire in Temecula

TEMECULA  - One person suffered minor injuries and two homes were evacuated after a fire broke out today in Temecula, the Riverside County Fire Department announced. The fire was reported around 9:50 a.m. in the 34000 block of Calle Bella Loma, where firefighters found multiple large propane tanks involved with fire. One person was taken to a hospital with minor burn injuries. Two homes near the propane tanks were evacuated out of an abundance of caution, according to the fire department. The fire was contained to the propane tanks, but firefighters said it was highly visible to the surrounding areas. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
