American Legion Riders West Coast Rally participants made a stop in Anza to stop in at a poker run checkpoint Saturday, Sept. 30. Drizzle, fog and chilly temperatures did not deter the riders from completing their run.The American Legion Post 53 from Hemet hosted the poker run that went from Hemet to Lake Hemet and then to the Dairy Queen in Anza, where a checkpoint was set up for the participants. Many different types of motorcycles attended, with a total of 28 bikes taking part.Previously that morning, a group picture was taken and an award presented to the organization.
