Murrieta driver Edward Finger finished third in Barona Speedway’s 2023 Pure Stocks points standings.Jimmy Villa of Descanso won the championship with 512 season points. Ramona’s Chris Evans was second with 506 points. Finger had 492 points. The fourth-place total of El Cajon driver Rusty Staley was 469 points.“I’m very happy,” Finger said.Finger won one main event during the season, taking first in the August 5 feature. He finished in the top five in 11 of his 14 races and was among the top ten in 12 Pure Stocks main events.Barona Speedway’s 2023 season ended October 28.
